NDT was developed by Karel Bobath and Berta Bobath (known as Bobath’s Treatment/ Bobath Approach).

At PHYSIO WALK, Dr Tushar Prajapati (MPT – NEUROLOGY) has attended workshop on Understanding Concept of BASIC & BOBATH (NDT) Approach in Hemilegic, conducted by Dr. Prabhat Ranjan.

NDT is a problem solving approach to the assessment and treatment of individuals with disturbances of Function, Movement and Postural Tone due to CNS lesion.

Neuroplasticity is the ability of the nervous system to change its activity in response to intrinsic or extrinsic stimuli by reorganizing its structure, functions, or connections. This phenomenon helps the brain to form new synaptic connections. In effect, it rewires the brain to learn or re-learn tasks and abilities.
